Sunrun believes there is a better, less expensive, cleaner way for families to power their homes. Sunrun is the pioneer of the solar-as-a-service model. We invented a new, simpler, more affordable way for homeowners to harness the natural resource of the sun to power their homes. Field Sales Trainer

Field Sales Trainer
 
Sunrun is looking for a seasoned professional that has a full understanding of the training field through professional experience. The Field Sales Trainer can take a defined project and see it to completion and likes to think of creative solutions to multi-variable issues. Being a career-focused individual, this person is driven, motivated and has a “do whatever it takes” attitude. This person is innately curious and hangs their hat on thinking of a solution and executing on that solution, caring about the details along the way. The Field  Sales Trainer is an effective communicator to those partaking in training events and people involved in other training projects.
 
The Field Sales Trainer will work directly with each of the regional Sales and Retail teams on projects to provide training and to ensure the implementation of the defined best practices. This will be accomplished through scheduled “in-market” training session, hands-on lab training, and on-the-job training.
 
The Field Sales Trainer will work with Sales Managers to review team performance metrics to focus attention on improving areas of low performance. The trainer will be a “Go To” sales resource for best practices and guidance on residential solar sales and lead gen.  
 
The Field Sales Trainer must be a team player and have strong leadership skills. A desire to learn and teach along with a passion for solar is a must.
 
    • Train and coach the Sales Consultant audience on Sales best practices and compliance standards at Sunrun.
    • Lead Generation/Sales training expert; able to teach all aspects of the Sales role and provide new strategies based on prior experience in Sales.
    • Responsible for driving and tracking productivity among Sales audience through consistent and regular training sessions.
    • Able to identify weaknesses of individuals and teams, and create or co-create ad hoc training events to address weaknesses
    • Support other trainers in delivery of strategic training events as needed
    • Ability to create recorded instructional videos and Knowledge Checks for new initiatives.
    • Ability to host engaging and interactive live webinars for an audience of 100+ attendees.
    • Regularly consults with Sales Managers and business partners to identify training needs within Outside Sales Dept.
    • This position is a remote position based in Northern CA/Bay Area and will focus on supporting the Sales Consultant position will require approximately 30%-50% travel.
      • 2+ years of successful experience in a Sales role and/or Training position.  
      • Track record of successfully training and/or coaching staff
      • Must have proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities
      • Enjoys teaching others
      • Excellent verbal and writing skills required
      • Excellent presence in presentation situations
      • Stamina and an approachable, energetic attitude
      • Solar background is a plus, but not necessary
      • Sales and/or Training experience is required

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    • Be able to remain in a seated position for more than 50 percent of the workday.
    • Sufficient hand, arm, and finger dexterity to operate a computer keyboard and other office equipment.
    • Have adequate visual and hearing acuity to follow instructions, operate office equipment and determine accuracy of the work assigned.
    • Ability to perform normal office duties.
    • Ability to operate office equipment including computers and determine accuracy of work.
    • Ability to interact and participate in meetings.

Asset Manager – Project Finance

 

The Asset Manager, reporting to the Director of Asset Management supports Sunrun’s Project Finance department. In your role, you will lead relationship management for multiple established Tax Equity and Debt investors, reporting on residential solar assets and driving operational efficiency to meet contractual requirements and relationship agreements.   As a leader in the Asset Management team, you will have the opportunity to use your excellent business and analytical skills to support business transformative decisions, drive company success and mentor team members.

The Asset Manager will become a subject matter expert on numerous business processes across the lifecycle of our solar assets in order to effectively synthesize key operational and financial data for external reporting and support financing of new markets and product offerings. The Asset Manager will be the team’s internal face, working collaboratively with various groups across the company to identify and implement technical solutions and process improvements to influence workflows that benefit Sunrun’s fund investors.
