Job Purpose

The Project Coordinator is directly responsible for supporting the work of the Project Manager, inter alia, managing the entry of new projects, closeouts of projects, working with the Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) for inspections, with utility companies for permission to operate (PTO) requests and ensuring the sign-off of various permits. The individual will oversee a portfolio of services related to each project, and is responsible for following up with AHJ’s, utility companies, contractors, and Sologistics team members to ensure service deadlines are being met. The individual is required to have excellent communications skills and have the ability to take initiative and complete jobs under required timelines in a remote working environment.


Job Responsibilities

  • Enter new projects into Sologistics’ Salesforce system
  • Work with multiple Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) at the same time to ensure the smooth implementation and of projects
  • Work with the relevant AHJ’s for the inspection of projects
  • Liaise with the relevant Department of Buildings (DOB) contacts to facilitate the inspection and sign off of permits/projects and address any issues as they arise
  • Prepare documents for permitting and/or utility services. Includes but is not limited to:
    • Utility Interconnection/PTO Requests
    • Final Building inspections
    • Permit sign-off
  • Monitor and report on progress within Salesforce towards approval and finalization of projects
  • Liaise with clients to provide updates on current projects and request materials or documentation as needed
  • Travel to the DOB to address issues or deliver physical documentation on an as-needed basis
  • Complete migration of select documents of completed and/or cancelled project to company storage drive
  • Schedule, host and attend team meetings, at least once weekly
  • Update documentation of various internal processes as changes are implemented
  • Ad hoc tasks that may be assigned by the Project Manager and the CEO

Qualifications & Experience

  • At least 2 years experience within the solar industry, NYC preferred
  • NY Department of Buildings Filing Representative certification preferred
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Google Suite and PDF applications
  • Previous experience with Salesforce CRM preferred
  • Required Education: High school diploma
