JOB DETAIL

Midwest Wind and Solar is looking for a project manager able to jump in head first and take on multiple projects simultaneously. Project Managers take the sales design from the project development team and bring the project all the way to completed and commissioned installation.

Must be flexible and able to travel across the Midwest.
Must be able to accurately track progress and budgets of each project while managing in house installation teams or outside subcontractors.
Directs staff in the daily, weekly planning process
Supervises superintendents
Coordinates the Construction Completion and the hand over of start-up packages
Supervises the close out of all punch list items
Procurement of material
Reviews and approves equipment rentals (if supplied by company) and coordinates shared use of this equipment with subcontractors
Conducts weekly coordination meeting with subcontractors
Conducts weekly subcontractor meetings
Reports weekly schedule and installation status
Adheres to Safety, Quality, Ethical Standards, Lessons Learned, and Performance Management programs in accordance with Division Policies, Standards, Guides, and Contractual commitments
Responsible for completion of the construction punchlist
Has full knowledge of the safety program and acts as the Safety Representative on site in the absence of the regular Safety Supervisor
Has general knowledge of all disciplines of construction and is able to stand in for each lead discipline
Understand contract terms
Monitors and controls overtime by his subordinates and subcontractors
